The year 2022 marked a pivotal transformation for Umar. He experienced a profound epiphany, feeling an irresistible pull towards the Qur’an. As he opened its pages, the words spoke to him, resonating deeply within his soul. This moment of clarity brought an overwhelming sense of connection and understanding. On his 40th birthday, Umar found his way to Mecca. It was there that he experienced an unparalleled sense of peace during his Tawaf. “I felt an absolute calm that day, a calm I have never felt in my entire life,” Umar recounts. This moment of profound clarity transformed Umar’s sense of purpose, leading him to a divine realization that his path was to become a Da’i, an inviter to Islam.
